Taming of the Shrew – A Review of the Movie “Titanic”

A sport film is an animated film genre which makes use of sport as the main theme of the movie. In it, a sport, usually a popular one, is featured, and that usually depend so much on sport for their story inspiration or resolution to some extent. The most prominent feature of such films is the acting prowess which is displayed by every actor. Usually the lead or protagonist of the movie sports a sport which he/she falls in love with/he just cannot escape, in order to pursue it to the ends of the earth. There are many genres which are related to sport and action, but this one has been around much longer than most of them.

Sports which feature excellent acting skills are quite common these days. actors portray the characters who are otherwise ordinary persons who get transformed into action heroes when they put on the right costume and perform their best. This change of perspective is mostly due to the extreme physical exertion that the heroes go through. The audience may not relate to these acts when watching it, but it is more for the actor’s satisfaction of being able to play the game brilliantly. The viewers have to relate to the characters’ experiences and hence, such acts are more believable than other genres.

“Titanic” is not just a sports film, but also a science fiction movie, as it takes twists on every convention of what a sport should be. Strong characters and a good story is what makes this movie a box office hit. However, what makes “Titanic” a definite must-see film, no matter if you are a fan or not, is its casting. Tom Cruise and Kate Capshaw are the two strongest characters, and this helps the entire film to be more emotional, as each of them plays a major role.
